MHE / Facilities Mechanic

We are looking for a MHE/Facilities Mechanic to join our team.  This role will repair and maintain all material handling equipment (MHE) in the warehouse, such as forklifts, pallet walkers, order selector jacks, warehouse floor scrubber, facility equipment, etc.

The pay range is between $34.00 per hour to $36.00 per hour.

• Maintain proper battery changing and charging for material handling equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and shop supply stock inventory. Keep record of parts used on work orders.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance done on all material handling equipment.
• Work with other team members when needed.
• Other duties as required.

• Close contact with moving equipment
• Use of potentially hazardous chemicals.
• Must deal with equipment failures and demands to have all equipment running.
• 80% of time on feet
• Lifting 50 pounds
• High school or GED required, plus 2 years of technical training or equivalent experience
• 2 - 5 years of experience in a material handling equipment service company or forklift shop with similar equipment required
• Ability to work in close quarters with at least two other people needed.
