Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality and Inventory Control Support team member to support the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our warehouse operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring inventory integrity, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting with vendor compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate $22.00 - $23.00 Per Hour

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits.
  • Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support quality programs, including SQF, FSMA, and vendor compliance requirements.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Cross departmental partnership to identify and resolve quality or inventory-related issues.
  • Assist in recall readiness, mock trace exercises, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory adjustments, quality checks, and audit findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Promote culture of accuracy, accountability, and food safety across the warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience preferably in inventory control, quality assurance, or warehouse operations.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse or distribution systems preferred (e.g., WMS, AS400)
  • Understanding of food safety regulations, and compliance standards (SQF/FSMA preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a focus on problem solving.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend solutions
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
