The pay range is between $120,000 - $180,000 annually.

 

Responsibilities

 

This position reports directly to the President. Lead District Sales Managers  with an emphasis on becoming a consultative partner with each customer through a process that supports mutually profitable growth, while promoting the concept of becoming the primary supplier in each account.

  • Direct Independent Sales functions to achieve budgeted territory results and other financial criteria.
  • Appraise and evaluate results of overall independent sales regularly and systematically and report these results to the President and company leadership.
  • Prepare and recommend annual Sales budget. Monitor actual expenses and manage operations within established budget goals.
  • Achieve monthly sales and gross profit targets for the district including Harbor Brand goals consistently
  • Reviews sales actual versus the plan and case goals
  • Select, train, evaluate and develop subordinate managers to ensure achievement of individual and district performance goals.
  • Prepare long-range plans by reviewing current and future customer needs and matching department projects and focus to meet those needs.
  • Ensure sound working relationships within the department and with other departments through effective communications with team members and managers. Set priorities and requirements to help develop plans of action. Communicate resolutions of plans, plans of action, priorities, and deadlines. Monitor and follow up on results.
  • Review organization and staffing plans to ensure that they are consistent and adequate for attainment of operations department objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor or Associate degree in Business Administration or relevant field of study or experience equivalent to this education preferred.
    • Ten (10) years of sales experience preferred.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite programs required.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work well with all levels of team members essential.
    • Must be able to spend large portions of certain days on your feet or sitting
    • Computer programs and financial management experience required.
    • Must have the ability to organize, prioritize, negotiate, manage and solve problems.
    • Able to pass a drug test and background investigation
